Our Programs

Hamilton House offers a diverse array of programs and activities for our membership. A part of of what makes our model unique is that the majority of our programs and events are member-led and driven.

Lectures & Presentations

These include one-time special presentations or scheduled series that mix it up every four to eight weeks: guest speakers, topic experts, music, and more!

Ongoing Classes & Activities

From language learning, weekly discussions, to board games, members can register or drop into these classes each week.

Special Events

Planned by our Special Events Committee, these social opportunities usually involve food, beverages, games, and other entertainment. Many events are open to members & guests; some require advance sign-up or payment.

Trips

Off-site excursions open to our members and guests. Trips require advance sign-up, and additional payment to cover excursion fees such as tickets, meals, transportation, etc.

Around the House

Hamilton House is a great place for members to hang out even if you are not participating in a class. Members often stop in before or after a local appointment, for a light lunch, or to casually socialize with friends.

Cafe

Open Monday - Friday 11:30 am - 1:30 pm. Coffee, tea and snacks always available. Enjoy a light lunch and good conversation friends of members always welcome. Currently cash is accepted.

Library

A cozy place to sit and enjoy your own read, or one from our shelves. You don't need to look far to find stories and memoirs by some of our members! Members can often find a puzzle in progress - many hands make for light work!

Art Studio

Open for use during the week when art classes are not in session. Equipped with easels, tables, a lights, the studio provides members the opportunity to explore working individually or meeting up with other members without formal instruction.

Pool Hall

Located on the basement level, drop in during scheduled afternoons for instruction or get a friend to join to shoot a few rounds! All levels encouraged.
